Daily Star Fantasy Football

cleverTV won the contract to operate the Daily Star's pay-to-play fantasy football competition in 2009 and have overseen the launch of a brand new website, and remodelled game.

cleverTV immediately set out to improve the look and feel of the game, and also find ways to increase the number of people signing up to play the game. A three teams for the price of two offer was introduced, and led to the large majority of customers entering more than one team into the competition.

As part of an energetic marketing campaign, an exclusive photo shoot with the Daily Star Babes was organised, and these pictures were used to promote the game, both online and in paper. The aim of this was to set the game apart from others products on the market, and add a light hearted element not present in some other games.

At the end of the summer, cleverTV were delighted to announce entries had increased by over 75% from the previous year and, with more special offers to be introduced during the season, the game is expected to continue to grow.
