cleverTV made their first move into the Portuguese market, when they secured a contract to run a Fantasy football game for the Sapo Desporto website, based on the Liga Sagres, Portugal's premier football competition.

In its debut year, the game has been remarkably successful given that it launched more than half way through the Portuguese Domestic season. cTV embraced the challenge of producing a game in a European language, producing a format that was equally accessible in Portuguese or English.
